What topic in the video did you mostly identify with and why?
Sometimes i get tired of the technology. As they say in the video, we don't take breaks form it and 24/7 we are available to talk. People that text me expect and imidiate response and sometimes i just take a break form it. I like to use it with moderation and balance, not be overwhelmed by it.
What topic in the video was the most unlike your own experiences online and why?
I was really shocked by the boy who committed suicide. These stories are very common but i have never had one that had happened to someone close to me. I think this is carrying things to an extreme. People should be strong and know that there are people to help them, also campaigns and support groups This is not the way to escape your problems, you have to confront them.
What are the biggest benefits of being online for you personally?
I like being online because i get to learn from other places and trends like fashion and music. Also i can research about topics that interest me for example recipes of food. There are many web ages that permit me to do this and are not necessary social connected. These webpages may be Tumblr, Polyvore and others. Something that i really like is that it permits me to be connected with friends and family who live far away. With social pages i can know about their life =s and communicate with them instead of breaking are relationships that were close.

Google Docs and Doctopus
1. What are the features of Google docs?
It is based on internet connection so you are able to work on documents at the same time as your classmates. Then you are able to share, save for later or create new documents. You also can import them from Microsoft office. You can add links, animations or even paint on your presentation. Also chat with the people you are making the presentation with.
2.What are some apps you can add?
There is a Google Docs app available for all androids. It has the same function as if you were working from a computer. You can edit, create or share documents and also chat. It makes easier and more efficient the insertions of images and videos to the documents since they are available in your phone, you just click upload.
3.What is Doctopus?
Its a tool that is useful for teachers. It helps to keep track of the students projects in an organized way to be able to grade them and give feed back. They have a personal template which they can apply to every project they work on.
4.How do you use it?
You install the Doctopus in any Google Spread sheet. Open it in the featured section of the gallery. From there you can gather your information for your template from Google drive or gmail or any where else.
5.What would it be useful for?
A feature that is very helpful is that Doctopus lets you see other classmates work. In this way you can see their work, give your opinion and have a bigger learning experience. Using Google Docs and Doctopus is very helpful because they work together in 1 format that is the Google format, they are easy to use and don't interfere with each other.

2. Start researching the basics of it.
3. Plan on how to present it.
1. Different Carries to study in design.
2. Research
https://www.wetfeet.com/articles/career-overview-design
-There and designers in every part of the industry, everything you look has passed through a group of designers that make it look the way it does. They are in charge of making the product attractive for the public, functional or just having a specific image or desired look.
- The different types of design have special requirements in you, for example being technological or having creativity, that depends on what you are good at.
-For each area you need to know who is your market, if they want functionality or trends.
-Skills you need, overall having an artistic side, also understanding the requirements of your market.
Designers:
- Graphic Design: They are about the manipulation of images. Should know how to use photo editing programs. Create books, catalogs etc. Publicity and logos.
-Industrial Design: Should study something that links visual arts, social sciences and technology. Also should be familiar with physics in engineering. Work on mass produced goods like cars, computers etc. Usually work on large corporations. Need to incorporate the safety part in the design for their audience.
-Interior Design: Research, plan and develop the environment inside a place. Usually work for architecture firms and are specialized in a specific area like living rooms, kitchens etc. Will work not only with the client, but with electricians, plumbers and others.
Fashion Design: Determine the look of clothes, compete with all the industry for the sales. Work with retailers and the department of marketing.

Green Computing
1. I don't know anything about this topic.
2. Is there other types of computing apart from green computing?
What is the purpose of computing?
3.
-It is a way of using computers (technology) and the resources that wont affect in a bad way our environment.
-It is the study of building technology that wouldn't have a negative impact.
Take responsibility for crating ways to dispose electronic waste.
-Also known as green IT (Green Information Technology)
-Started in 1992 with the energy star program that created the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
-Many companies are investing on these research and technology to reduce the dangerous waste and use more recycled materials.
http://www.techopedia.com/definition/14753/green-computing
http://searchdatacenter.techtarget.com/definition/green-computing
5. Summary
This topic may relate to my life because we live in a time that we all should be aware about global warming and the causes of it. This doesn't mean that people will stop using their technology, but if we have the opportunity to make a difference by not getting out of our "comfort zone" will be very good. If I have the opportunity to buy technology that is Eco friendly, then I would, since I am getting what I want but I am also helping out. With Green Computing this will be possible.
6. Is there companies or organizations that are against this? Why?

Design Project day 5
1. Photo
2. We did meet our goals because we wanted to make it interesting and atractive so everyone would like to play it. The kids did look exited when we took it there and the second time we went they said they liked it alot since they won a few times.
3.
-What was the biggest problem you encountered? How did you solve it?
The construction and decoration was difficult since we didnt achive the look we wanted the game to have, it really didnt fit the theme as much as we wanted it to. But in the end we managed to add more circus themed stuff into our game and it ended up looking how we wanted to.

-When did you get your biggest "AH HA" idea? What was it?
We think our biggest idea was putting the ramp in the back. It made the game funner since it became more "technological" and the ball just returned to you automatically.
-Who in your group resisted new ideas the most and why?
Gabriela resisted most of the ideas because she thought she had better ideas than the rest of us. She like things done only her way.
-What doubts did YOU have about the project and how did you overcome those doubts?
We thought that since the kids were small they could easily loose the balls and without the balls there is no game. To overcome this we made spare balls just in case.
-Who in your group played "devil's advocate" (a person who questions everything, even good ideas) and how did that help the process?
Nicole was the devil advocate because she was always saying was is the purpose of doing this or that, she always wanted to get straight tho the point and that helped because we focused on what was needed to be done and not in the little insignificant details.
-What did you learn about yourself, teamwork, and the design process?
It is always hard to agree on everything but you have to be flexible with ideas and meet people half way to have a good project and be able to work well. It is always better to plan ahead to be organized and have things when they are due.

DESIGN PROJECT DAY 3
Choose
1. They do match because we created a game that was fun for primary boys and girls, its theme, circus will make it atractive and easy to decorate. When we did the moddel some of the comment we got is that it looks fun to play.
2. The ideas that we want to keep are having a good theme, being colorfull and possible to win, very simple.
3. We can leave off a lot of rules, just have 2-3 simple rules.
Implement
4. We need to:
1. Make the box, the structure.
2. Make sign that says circus

Design project-day 2
1. Nicole's model: strength: well labeled, detailed weakness: difficult to make, not realistic.
My model: strength: well explained with every angle weakness: ramp wont work
Gabriela's model: strength: easy to make and logical weakness: not detailed.
Model that has more strengths is Gabriela's model.
Details of other models add the points and rules to the game. Have more decorations.
Added or taken away: make a system in the back for the spare balls.
Feedback
They liked the colors because they made it attractive and they liked the theme of Circus. Also they thought that it was smart the idea of the back ramp.
They didn't gave us any negative feedback.

Reserch Phase
1.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F9IobjhuOTw&list=PL92539D6D66668E09
This link was good because it showed a simple way to do a game that i thought would be very hard. She could improve it by making the game better looking since it looks without effort.

This game was good because it had many steps, or levels for you to be on every time you advanced further in the game. In the game you could see the points you won for each phase. To improve it she could construct better.

This video helped me because it gave me ideas of how a more elaborate game should look like. Some of the "keys" of points written down are not clear but overall is good.
Ideation Phase
Our theme is circus. The point of the game is to throw the ball and it to arrive into one of the high score holes. The board will be 3d rectangular box hanging from the wall. Each hole will be the head of an animal circus. It will be very attractive and both genders.
Things that may not work could be that the cardboard will damage. And the ball gets lost. To prevent we will make it resistant by having many layers. And have extra balls.

GOOGLE 20%
Link to my project:
http://prezi.com/socsd2metxcz/the-google-20-project/
Goals For the Project:
My goals since the begging were to learn how to improve the quality of the pictures and what were the best programs to use to edit them.
What were the different websites or programs that the professionals use to edit and what are the ones normal people our age or older use.
What do professionals edit more in the pictures and what do regular people edit in their pictures.
Edit the pictures and make them more "valuable", better quality.
