Google Docs and Doctopus
1. What are the features of Google docs?
It is based on internet connection so you are able to work on documents at the same time as your classmates. Then you are able to share, save for later or create new documents. You also can import them from Microsoft office. You can add links, animations or even paint on your presentation. Also chat with the people you are making the presentation with.
2.What are some apps you can add?
There is a Google Docs app available for all androids. It has the same function as if you were working from a computer. You can edit, create or share documents and also chat. It makes easier and more efficient the insertions of images and videos to the documents since they are available in your phone, you just click upload.
3.What is Doctopus?
Its a tool that is useful for teachers. It helps to keep track of the students projects in an organized way to be able to grade them and give feed back. They have a personal template which they can apply to every project they work on.
4.How do you use it?
You install the Doctopus in any Google Spread sheet. Open it in the featured section of the gallery. From there you can gather your information for your template from Google drive or gmail or any where else.
5.What would it be useful for?
A feature that is very helpful is that Doctopus lets you see other classmates work. In this way you can see their work, give your opinion and have a bigger learning experience. Using Google Docs and Doctopus is very helpful because they work together in 1 format that is the Google format, they are easy to use and don't interfere with each other.
